THES Award Nomination

We are delighted that Sara Shinton (Shinton Consulting), Jon Turner (University of Edinburgh) and Janet Wilkinson (Three Times Three Consulting) have been short-listed for a Times Higher Educational Supplement Award for Outstanding Support for Early-Careers Researchers for their work developing "How to be an Effective Researcher". The award winners will be announced on November 29th 2007.

Many thanks to all those who were involved in the development of the course and its roll-out across Scotland, Wales and England. Congratulations to all those short-listed for the awards, particularly the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne where Sara has been involved in the Research Staff Support programme and St Andrews University, where both Keith and Sara contribute to the GRADskills programme.
